- I have an internal Supra which I'm using with Netscape 2. This version
- reports download speed. While the modem connects usually at a high speed
- over 24K, frequently that speed drops when downloading graphics, etc. to as
- low as 200+ bytes per second. It may rise again when I access another
- server.
-
- I'm not sure what Netscape is measuring for speed. Would this be a problem
- with the modem falling back or is it more likely a measure of how fast
- the server is providing information. Alternatively, does it appear I have
- a connection problem. I know at least one Microcom wouldn't work at all
- on this line.
