  11. I have an internal Supra which I'm using with Netscape 2.  This version
  12. reports download speed.  While the modem connects usually at a high speed
  13. over 24K, frequently that speed drops when downloading graphics, etc. to as
  14. low as 200+ bytes per second.  It may rise again when I access another 
  15. server.

  17. I'm not sure what Netscape is measuring for speed. Would this be a problem 
  18. with the modem falling back or is it more likely a measure of how fast
  19. the server is providing information.  Alternatively, does it appear I have
  20. a connection problem.  I know at least one Microcom wouldn't work at all 
  21. on this line.
